Description: A sculptural seat for Cedar Grove, Banwell Road, Elborough Village, Hutton.

The commission brief outlined the aviation/aerospace manufacturing history of the site, so we initially considered a design approach using mild and stainless steel, but after seeing the Council’s Design Guide intentions for a ‘village’ quality in the new development, and the rural character of the surrounding landscape we felt that a more organic form, mainly in wood, would be more appropriate.
