Phil’s design for steel boat frame fabricated by Oldroyd Bros., Ltd., Runcorn, also painted by sub contractor, and installation by fabricator. Plaster original for figurehead made by artist with Diane Gorvin. Bronze cast by Castle Fine Arts Foundry, Oswestry. Bronze installed by artist. Concrete base installed by main civil engineering contractor.
