Dartford's Biggest Fan - Background

Description:  Dartford Football Club (the 'Darts') were returning to their home town and to a new innovative football stadium.

The new ground is something a bit special and quite unlike any other football stadium. It's been designed on thoroughly green lines - even down to the grass roof on the 100% fully covered terraces. The stadium has a very low profile as it is sunk into the ground and very curvy. There is no trace of corrugated iron anywhere.

We were contacted, via this web site, to discuss something unusual -  the ambition to bring some sculpture into the stadium.
Not in the Directors' Lounge or Foyer … but on the Terraces!

So we worked with the architects on proposals for something on appropriate for the terraces.
