Description:

Two carved Portland Stone forms based on an acorn cup and seed with oak leaves attached, forming seating 4m long. They are fixed as a group directly onto the paving in the square, the seating is handy for parents collecting their children from school. The theme was suggested by the large Oak trees on the site. The stone forms carved from selected quarried blocks from Stone Firms on Portland, Dorset. The oak for the leaf seating came from Ayleburton Common in the Forest of Dean supplied through B. Llewellyn Tree Surgeon. Transportation and installation by Damon Bramley under Phil’s direction
